ETCH Names Cary Cook VP, Business Development

Baltimore, MD – August 13, 2025 – ETCH, Inc. (ETCH), a revolutionary decarbonization company producing clean hydrogen and solid carbon from natural gas, announced today that it has named Cary Cook VP, Business Development. Cook will report to ETCH CEO, Katie Ellet.

“Cary brings a mix of business development acumen, experience in the space, and hands-on execution, which is exactly what we need as we move from early traction to real scale. Having collaborated with him before, I know he will hit the ground running and make an immediate impact,” said Katie Ellet, CEO, ETCH.

Before joining ETCH, Cook was Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for Air Liquide’s North America Hydrogen Mobility business, where he led business growth initiatives and managed commercial and marketing teams within the hydrogen mobility sector. Previously, Cook spent several years at SI Group in roles including Global Director of Market Development, Global Sales Director, and Business Development Director. At SI Group, he was responsible for the Oilfield business unit's sales globally, oversaw Industrial Solutions BU market development, managed international sales teams, and was responsible for driving strategic business development across multiple product lines. Earlier in his career, Cook held various positions at Nalco Champion overseeing market strategy development, customer and account management, and supported customer solutions in specialty chemicals for the energy sector.

Cook holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University.
